See how two table definitions really differ.
Production says one thing, the migration file another. Paste both CREATE TABLE statements and SchemaDrift lists every column that was added, dropped or quietly changed — type, default, nullability. Everything runs in this page.
What counts as drift
Added and dropped
Columns present on one side only. A dropped column is listed first: it is the change that loses data.
Type changes
Width and precision count: varchar(16) to varchar(32) is drift, even if it is harmless.
Defaults and NULLs
A new NOT NULL or a different default changes what inserts do, so it is reported separately.
